The quickest route is from London Stansted to Ancona. From Ancona airport to the house takes about an hour and a quarter. Another option would be to fly to Rimini, Pescara or Rome. The drive from Rome airport will take you about 3 hours. The advantage of this is that you could fly from your local airport.
Easyjet fly from Gatwick, East Midlands, Newcastle and Bristol to Rome. Ryanair fly from Glasgow, East midlands, Liverpool, London Luton and London Stansted to Rome.
